Guide to Costa Rica : Monte Verde & Tamarindo

Part one of my trip around Costa Rica can be found here and part two can be found here! Whilst driving down the roads of England you may be lucky enough to see a badger or fox crossing the street. In Costa Rica however we often stopped on the road to look at sloths or [...]

Guide to Costa Rica : San Jose & Tortoguero

Pura Vida. In English “Pura Vida” is simply translated to “Pure Life” but in Costa Rica itself it means more than just words, it is a way of life. It means to live life with a smile, to embrace any new adventure but most importantly to find joy in the simple things in life. It [...]

About 6 months ago, whilst I was in Croatia, I went on a day trip to Kotor in Montenegro. It wasn’t until today however that I discovered I had a whole blog post written about it but never published. So surprise! Here is a random Thursday morning blog post all about what to do if you ever find yourself in the small town of Kotor! Link is in my bio . . #instatraveller #travelcaptures #globetravel #travelthroughtheworld #travellust #travelblogging #tblogger #travelcommunity #roamtheworld #borntotravel #womenwhotravel #montenegroe #kotor #travelrack #forbestravelguide #iamatraveler #lppathfinders
I have handed my notice in at work so now I can finally announce that from January 2020 I am GOING TRAVELLING FOR 7 MONTHS AHHHHH ✈️✈️ Well 7 months over a 9 month period so I will be home for 2 months over Easter but I cannot put into words how excited I am 🎉 I will be putting together a blog post on my more specific plans but just as a sneak peak i will be ticking 3 of the big As off my list: Asia, Australia and America! I really cannot wait to go and share my experiences on here with all of you Is it too early to start packing now? . . . instatraveller #travelcaptures #globetravel #travelthroughtheworld #travellust #travelblogging #tblogger #travelcommunity #roamtheworld #borntotravel #womenwhotravel
When we were out exploring the tiny town of port Quinn one day we came across this little castle owned by the national trust. When I say it is in the middle of nowhere and essentially on the edge of a cliff I am not exaggerating and it turns out 2 people can stay there for up to a week! Well for the small price of nearly £900 for 2 nights 🙃 one worth saving for a special occasion though! Swipe to see the view 😍
I think from this day on I am going to make in my mission to live by the sea at some point in my life! It’s back to the reality of London today, we just have time for one more Cornish afternoon tea and then the 5 hour drive shall begin 🙃
To escape the rain yesterday we went to explore the Eden project. You can swipe to see the difference between the 2 pods but unfortunately what I can’t relay through picture was the difference in the heat. My main bit of advice if you’re going to visit is to keep a coat on hand in the Mediterranean pod but remove as many layers as you can before you reach the point of being naked when going into the rainforest pod!
Aside from the buckets of rain we have been hit with I have fallen in love with every thing about Port Isaac and Cornwall all together! These little guys followed us around the field for 20 minutes on our walk home and every time we turned to look at them they stopped walking. It was like playing grandmas footsteps with a herd of cows! Today we’re off to the Eden project which should be a great escape from today’s forecast of more rain 🌧 . . . #cow #cornwall #portisaac
